In addition to me liking this song because of its light-hearted fun feeling, I also picked this video to display because the "Coney Island" theme. Its very reminiscent of when videos were light-hearted and fun like the Mariah Carey "Fantasy" video which came out when I was was little which I still enjoy til this day as much as I enjoy "XO" by Beyonce. Watch as Beyonce describes the process that went into making her latest record breaking album that has officially put her in the Guinness Book of World Records. I think that is such an amazing triumph in itself, and she is such an inspiration to people I know with me she just makes me wanna do everything alot harder than what Im currently doing. I think we all could take a lesson from her book because she puts in work for her accolades. Location: global

Yes you see how the title is spelled because its in fact the finest grade there is, you cant run down to your local corner-store and purchase this you need to log on. In the era of "pop corn microwavable artists", Beyonce has stood the test of time, one of those reasons is her ability to be a chameleon in the forever changing culture of the music industry. The media tried to critique her art on the last album 4, and she basically in her own way gave them a fuck you and went on tour for two years. Then just when the other female artists thought it was safe to drop albums and pull pr stunts for record sales, Bey moved in silence like G and cancelled Christmas on these chicks while she was on tour and taking care of her baby. I haven't been able to get all the way through the album yet because I'm mesmerized by the visuals that she provided along with it. Calling this album growth would be an understatement she takes you back to her DC days, mixing in hints...

I thought it was better to the let song express the feeling of world rather than my own words on someone I wasn't acquainted with personally, but familiar with through his art which he leaves behind as his legacy. Don't cry because he has passed, but because he lived and was fulfilling his purpose and was allowed to reach so many in his brief time here. Location: The World

These two are hilarious I wonder what Kanye and Kim will think about it hmmmmm.....

It has been quite the busy year in the Carter household, more recently Jay-Z has launched two new high-end fashion ventures. In addition to the Hublot watch collection, today was a Shawn Carter holiday at Barney's New York where the music mogul launched his Shawn Carter Collection. Although its exclusive to New York the in-store space also offers pieces from Balenciaga, Balmain, Lanvin, as well as many others. The entire Shawn ‘JAY Z’ Carter collection is also available online, and just in case you thought The Carters didn't give back to their community because they don't feel a need to display a resume of their good deeds for publicity, Barneys New York will donate 100% of sales from the collection to the Shawn Carter Foundation, a New York-based charity which awards post-secondary scholarships to students facing socio-economic hardships. The power couple were seen tonight doing a little celebrating with Rob Garcia 1/2 of the high-end streetwear brand "En Noir....

I will begin by saying this I don't hate the video or the song, but it just seems awkward. Kim seems to be trying to channel her inner Mariah Carey on this motorcycle but she appears to be very uncomfortable or maybe it was just the camera angles. I loved the vivid colors though I think it romanticizes fall with the sky more blue, and orange more orange and the rustic canyon backdrop gets an A+. Location: Ellen
