Larsen is one of the contestants in the Oxygen reality talent competition series vying for a recurring role in FOX's "Glee." He was previously one of the contestants on "American Idol 2010" who made it to Hollywood in Season 9 of the FOX reality singing competition. He auditioned in Los Angeles, California. Samuel Larsen a musician at heart, is not only the lead singer in his band, but he also plays guitar, drums, bass and piano. Larsen was one of the 34,000 people to submit an audition video for "The Glee Project" via MySpace. When Larsen was 14 years old, he moved from San Francisco to Southern California, where he sang in a local band for 3 years before branching out on his own. Lee McQueen was worth an estimated 16 million pounds when he died -- the equivalent of about $26 million. His lucky dogs received 50,000 pounds for their continual care, and the designer left another 100,000 pounds each to the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and the Blue Cross Animal Welfare Charity. "It is a touching tribute to his obvious love for his dogs and his legacy will allow us to help many thousands more sick and homeless animals across the UK," said Kim Hamilton, chief executive of the Blue Cross charity. The news that his dogs were left a hefty chunk of change is unsurprising since the designer's short suicide note read, "Look after my dogs, sorry, I love you, Lee."
