Nyasha The New Face On A-List New York




Nyasha is a Recording Artist/TV Persona and Entrepreneur who is a native of South Africa. She was named “One of the Top Ten Visionaries of 2009” by New York based African Mag — list included Alicia Keys, Tyler Perry, Dambisa Moyo and President Obama. She has performed at Moloko in Johannesburg, Fashion TV in East London,and featured on WEtv as the comic opinionated judge with an edge on "Little Miss Perfect" season 1 and 2. Nyasha emceed at Americas Perfect Model search in Disney, spoke on segments for BBC World, presented at the 15th Annual Time for Peace Film and Music Awards, and special guest at President Barack Obama’s Purple Inaugural Ball .

During her recent reign as Miss Africa USA, she served as a youth ambassador for humanitarian causes relating to the entire continent of Africa here in the US. She then founded the Global Citizen Campaign, a non-profit organization commited to helping five charities across the globe, which help the education, human rights, livelihood, health and US troops rehabilitation sectors.Nyasha credits her driven spirit to working under people NBC/Miss Universe, as an Assistant State Director and a beauty consultant in Florida. Her broad professional, social and travel experiences influence her knowledge in global pop culture, fashion and music.

Her extensive background in the entertainment and beauty world as a consultant, lead her to become the CEO and Founder of Embrace Your Hair. Zimucha also works with fashion designers creating runway hair looks at Mercdes Benz Fashion Week.
