SMG returns to TV with CW's The Ringer!

Im so excited one of my favorite blondes is back on tv!!!In 2011 Gellar signed on to star and work as executive producer for a new drama titled Ringer in which she plays a woman on the run who manages to hide by living the life of her wealthy twin sister. The show was originally made for CBS but was picked up by its sister channel The CW in May 2011.Gellar has stated that part of her decision to return to a television series was because it allows her to both work and raise her daughter.

The series stars 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' veteran Gellar as a set of twins, Bridget and Siobhan, who grew apart after a tragedy and couldn't be more different. Bridget, who has had a troubled life, takes over her sisters identity when she goes on the run from the mob. It turns out Siobhan has died in an accident, but she also has a hit out on her.

Gellar is joined by 'Life Unexpected' star Kristoffer Polaha and 'Fantastic Four' actor Ioan Gruffudd.
