The Legendary Whitney Houston dead at 48(Updated Details)

This is a sad day in the world of music lovers, The Chicago Tribune stated that one of the greatest voices of our generation has passed away. I have loved Whitney since a little kid in the 80's I remember my mom having her albums, I remember the anxiety I had waiting for the movie The Bodyguard to debut her first acting role. I cannot you the countless times I listened to I will always love you as well as watched the video. I hope these reports are false, but until further information is gathered this is all I have to rely on.The Associated Press is reporting that Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48. If said reports are true may her wonderful soul rest in eternal peace!!!
Publicist Kristen Foster said that the causes of the singer's death are unknown.
Here is what a rep for Houston said"Whitney's entourage found her in her room at the Beverly Hilton hotel ... and called hotel security -- who then dialed 911. When paramedics arrived Houston was found unresponsive.
police arrived to the scene within minutes and fire was already there on an unrelated call. The paramedics did perform CPR but it did not work and she was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM. There were no obvious signs of foul play, but BH PD detectives have begun a full investigation. We're told she was ID'ed by family and friends."
