Its no secret that our country has a shady past in its dealings with the states that lay below the Mason/Dixon line. However as a southerner myself I'd like to think we have an evolved way of thinking in this country that embraces our past instead of sweeping it under a rug as if it never existed. It appears as though thats what Virgil Abloh is trying to show society with his latest creation posted via instagram a few hours ago, I see it as expressionism and giving the south more of a voice. I think there are lots of people who still think southerners walk barefoot down dirt roads, and use outhouses to relieve ourselves which couldn't be further from the truth. I'd rock it probably just to the gym though like those pyrex shorts (no shade), but I am proud to be a proper raised southern man.
