It is my personal belief that every man has the innate desire to present himself as a true gentleman, some of us are groomed that way from childhood while others polish themselves up as they matriculate through life. That doesn't mean you have to be Mr.Congeniality because there are people out there who will honestly make you loose your composure, but that's an entirely different discussion. If there is one thing I know is luxury my father's family doesn't accept anything less, however a lot of people don't use their logic when purchasing luxurious items. When involves long-term thinking do you want the car and be able to live the lifestyle to accompany it, or do you just want the car and still live like the same guy you were before here are some things I suggest:
.) Don't hop on the first thing you see, shop around preferably on the internet there are tons of high-end luxury cars for under 60k that are MSRP valued at 100k plus. Please don't wake-up in a brand new Bugatti and you don't even own the place you lay your head at night.
.) Mileage is one of the main components of a cars upkeep, he who buys a Benz with 100k miles on it than less than one model year old has no idea what he is doing, but you have those guys who so thirsty for status they will do that just to say "Im riding in a Benz", we know better.'
.) Buy vintage but research the resale value when fully restored, a lot of cars just need body work a lot of which can be done yourself then you have a car that doesn't fold like a tin can if you were to get into an accident. Keep in mind vintage means at least 10years which is considered chic, otherwise its just used which is ok because a brand new car depreciates as soon as you drive off the lot. Its ok to standout and not have the exact same car that has been mass-produced for every other consumer.
.) Aftermarket accessories rims and all of those speakers are just tacky, and they drastically reduce the resale value of your car unless you remove those items, and return the car to factory condition before you decide to sell it.
.) Make sure the vehicle you are purchasing is honestly a purchase that you really want not just to try to impress those around you, because guess what when you are broke those people you want so desperately to impress will be nowhere to be found.
