FM:Anybody from the Midwest already know how serious we are about our haircuts, just as serious about the way we dress and our music we listen to. You can't even put on a fresh fit without having the right cut, Allstar barbershop in Cleveland Ohio is that place. Jreze isn't just an Allstar barber he is a producer as well.So we are really finna go in with this interview, we can start with your background, age, and where you are from?
J:My childhood was pretty decent so I can't complain, minus the leather belt, lol. I have an older brother and I grew up with both of my parents. I am currently 26 and of course I was born in Cleveland, OH
FM:Alright being a barber and being from the midwest you already understand the importance of a fresh haircut so how long have you been doing that and was that an always interest for you?
J:I've been cutting hair for 6yrs now and I love it! Orignially I wanted to be a pharmcist but as I got more involved with that field of work I lost interest.
FM:Where did your passion for music industry come from and when then did that start, and what all components of music are you involved in?
J:I always wanted to be a producer ever since I began playing around on the Casio keyboard. I began writing lyrics and rapping around the age of 8. I produce mainly because I'm not a fan of being on stage lol, I'd rather be behind the scene.

FM:Who and what influences you musically, and on the barber side what makes you go 100 when giving a haircut and describe the atmosphere in your, because from a client prospective I hate when it's loud and people standing over me talking while I'm getting a cut...what is your take on that?
J:The Creator is who influences me musically and anything having to do with creativity. As far as cutting hair, what makes me give it my all is the desire to make others feel good about themselves. If my clients feel great about what they see in the mirror, then I feel more than great! The atmosphere in the shop is phenomenal. It's very laid back and super friendly. The theme to th shop is sports. The first thing people recognize are the signatures on the wall from all the Allstars that came in. It's all love at the shop and we make everyone feel as comfortable as possible.
FM:Bigger goal going all the way in the music industry or having your own barbershop?
J:A major goal for me is that I would love to own my own barbershop/studio/tattoo shop all in one.
FM:Who all have you worked with doing music and who do you plan on working with moving forward?
J:I've worked with D-Werd, Shad Hitz, King Kollision, Dynasty, Chill E. Freeze and Arrazi The Ghetto Novelist. I would love to work with Styles P., Outkast, Talib Kwali, Erykah Badu and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
FM:Have you ever had any NBA clientele and if so who?
J:No, I haven't cut any NBA stars yet, but I have but cut an NFL players hair by the name of Lou Holmes who used to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
What bothers you the most about a client?
The thing that bothers me most about a client would have to be a client who doesn't respect the hustle
Wardrobe most barbers are always fresh, what does your wardrobe consist of?
J: I like to wear graphic T's, and fitted jeans, not those skin tight joints lol. I'm more of a white-T kind of guy. I don't like all that hair in my fresh clothes.
FM:Best place to kick it?
J:The best place for me to kick it would have to be Crocker Park. It's like a mini city inside a city. It's located on the west side of Cleveland.
Location:Cleveland Ohio
