Christopher “Tricky” Stewart

What’s in a name? For some producers it’s simply making a living off of a signature effect or a stylized formula. For the other rare class of producers, recognition is secondary to creating the perfect song. That’s the true mark of a maestro capable of guiding artists at any stage of their career to new heights with creative vision. This is the way of award winning producer Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
C. “Tricky” Stewart is in the proven business of cultivating the talent of dedicated artists. The long list of hits he has created is a testament to the genius of Tricky’s production prowess, adjusted to fit the needs of an emerging chanteuse or a proven songstress.

He crafted Rihanna’s breakout single “Umbrella,” nurtured the effervescence of Beyonce’s brilliant career on “Single Ladies” and was the driving force behind Mary J. Blige’s up-tempo smash “Just Fine.” With Tricky helming the studio, change is in the air, as he assumes his place among the most important producers of this era.
Tricky’s approach isn’t brand new; he’s a classic producer in the lineage of the greats. That’s what makes him untouchable by those under a less skilled hand. He emulates his inspirations — Quincy Jones, Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam— who crafted a sound around the artist’s identity. “I’m a traditional producer,” Tricky says. “I’m responsible for who’s in the room, to make sure the right guitarist is called, that the writers have written the best song.”
Tricky’s formula isn’t about gimmick — and that’s what gives him staying power in a tenuous musical climate. The best in the business are lining up to work with him on make it or break it albums — with Mariah Carey Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna and Diddy next up to bat this year.
Tricky’s talents are rooted in his strong musical lineage. The son of two music directors, born in the Chicago suburb of Markham, Illinois, Tricky was an accomplished drummer in childhood, who later became a skilled keyboardist. He was the only child among adults in the church band, and played on television commercials. “I still love the drums,” he says. Mentored by his older brother producer Laney and MCA record executive Louil Silas, Jr., Tricky produced “Hold Me Tight” for Troy Hinton at age 16 and produced for Aaron Hall, Damion Hall and Immature shortly thereafter. His work with Chante Moore elevated him into an esteemed producer while he was still a teenager.
“I saw the evolution of the industry. A lot of my skills, old and new I am able to use are based upon knowing the theories of actual recordings. Those experiences helped me, for instance, when I worked with Celine Dion who doesn’t record using new school techniques whatsoever,” explained Stewart.
A savvy creator, Tricky wanted to build a hub to meet the growing demand for production with his brother Mark, officially launching RedZone Entertainment in 1995 and relocating to Atlanta from Los Angeles, under the urging of L.A. Reid who recognized the burgeoning talent. Tricky produced his breakout 1999 hit “Who Dat” for JT Money. Soon, celebrated household names flocked to him for creative vision. C “Tricky” Stewart discovered and developed the talents of producer Kevin

“She’kspere” Briggs, resulting in She’kspeare resounding 1999 smash hits, including Destiny Childs’ “Bills, Bills, Bills” and TLC’S “No Scrubs.” Tricky repositioned Mya as a mature songstress with “Case of the Ex” and created an identity for breakout artist Blu Cantrell, executive producing her first album So Blue in 2001.

When his brother Laney discovered the talents of writer The-Dream, Tricky began to collaborate with the up and coming writer, making The-Dream an enduring household name, which they achieved with his 2007 debut Love Hate. “We get on two different pianos and the drum machine is by me. It’s doesn’t take us long. We have that chemistry.”
When Tricky embarks on a project, the commitment is first and foremost. He works around the clock to achieve sonic perfection. He works with six sound engineers — more than any prominent producer in the business — and the polished perfection is evident. He combs a vast catalog for a starting point. I always have records that I’m holding that will be game changing for an artist.”
While the industry moves at lightening pace, rare is the producer with a commitment to integrity and discovering the right sound. Tricky is that producer, who will stand behind the stars who earn their positions with dedication and heart. Along with Rihanna, Beyonce and The-Dream, Tricky’s extensive list of production credits includes artists such as Lionel Richie, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Pink, Usher and Jamie Foxx.
“I’m looking for an artist who is doing music until the day they die. I’m looking for people who have a love of music so they don’t squander their opportunity,” Tricky declares. “With a new artist it’s a matter of helping them find their voice.”
These are the songs that tell the story of producer C. “Tricky” Stewart who is shaping the course of popular music, restoring musicality to the charts. Listen closely. The songs have meaning, the hit records feel lush and the music rings true —Haven’t you heard, Tricky is a star maker

Urban Insider talks Model Behavior with Mr. Alex Dominguez of RED Models NYC

With it now being officially spring and actually feeling like it, I thought what better way to celebrate than bringing in a little model behavior. Models often showcase the best of what the average person aspires to look like, from the clothes, the height, and even their hair. We chatted with Mr. Alex Dominguez for the proper insight, and here are our results....... Tell us a little about yourself such as where you are from, age, and for those who aren't familiar what agency you are currently signed with..... I was born Alexander P Dominguez in Washington DC on December 4th, and have resided in Prince George's county Maryland for most of my life. I graduated from Frostburg State university with a degree in Criminal Justice. I come from a good traditional Filipino family, and I am presently represented by RED model management NY. What was it and when was it that make you first take an interest in becoming a male model..... I really had no intentions of

She has it all from the girl next door appeal, to extreme sex appeal. I first took notice of her when I saw the Jamie Foxx ft Drake "Fall For Your Type" video and to be honest I had to take a sceond glance because I really thought that she was JLO. It wasnt until recently when I actually found out who this stunning beauty is who looks like she could be Jennifer Lopez's little sister. Jessica Burciaga (born April 11, 1983) is an American model . Her father is Mexican and her mother is French and Irish . She was selected to be Playboy's February 2009 Playmate of the Month .   I think we are just starting to see the beginning of the beautiful Jessica, and that she has alot more in store......
