Kelly Pitts is reduced to Reoccurring Role on The Game

After being canceled on The CW and bought back to life by the BET network, “The Game” made its debut to rave reviews earlier this week….However, since the cast has been promoting the show, Brittany Daniels has been noticeably absent from a lot of the promos lately and our readers have been hitting us up to find out why. Although, we haven’t pinpointed the exact reason she has been missing in action, we have found out that her character Kelly Pitts has been downgraded to a recurring character on the show. She revealed this last year, while speaking with Vibe about some of the changes on the show:

What’s different for me is I was a series regular before and now I’m just a reoccurring character on the show. We did 13 episodes and I’m just contracted to do six. Another change is that we’re shooting in Atlanta and that’s different. [The Game was previously filmed in Los Angeles.]

I wasn’t happy about it, I wanted to do all the episodes but I think it was a financial thing. So I think the biggest difference for me between working for CW and BET is on the CW I made more money. But the reason I came back to do the show is that I love the show. And I love, love the people that I work with so even though it came down to [my reduced role] I had to be supportive of the rest of the cast. I know me not showing up would affect a lot of story lines differently so I decided to be a team player anyway.

We’re shooting thirteen episodes at one time. So we’ll be finished with shooting thirteen episodes in a month and a half. The first day of my shooting day I did a scene from the last episode. Then after lunch you might be shooting a scene from the first episode. So that was really challenging to keep up with where you are in the story from hour to hour. Most dramas and sitcoms take several months to shoot a whole season worth of shows.

It was challenging and weird doing it this way. Because when I was shooting an episode a week I had a whole week to absorb what my character was going thru. And I would get very connected to the character, because I’d be living it. But now it’s like, ‘Oh now I’m doing the very end of the season with all this dramatic stuff going on but we haven’t done all the scenes prior so I don’t really know where I’m at.’ Or I’m mentioning a character, like Tasha’s boyfriend and I haven’t even met the actor who plays him yet. I don’t even know who he is and I’m already talking about him. But I told myself, I’ll just do the best I can. That’s all you can do—the best you can under these circumstances.

She has it all from the girl next door appeal, to extreme sex appeal. I first took notice of her when I saw the Jamie Foxx ft Drake "Fall For Your Type" video and to be honest I had to take a sceond glance because I really thought that she was JLO. It wasnt until recently when I actually found out who this stunning beauty is who looks like she could be Jennifer Lopez's little sister. Jessica Burciaga (born April 11, 1983) is an American model . Her father is Mexican and her mother is French and Irish . She was selected to be Playboy's February 2009 Playmate of the Month .   I think we are just starting to see the beginning of the beautiful Jessica, and that she has alot more in store......

Urban Insider Takes a Look Inside Hoopstar Deven’s World

One of the things I like most about choosing the people I work with, is that I come across the most amazing people with the best stories to tell. Recently I caught up with Mr.Deven Hubbard of Atlanta, GA, he is young and doing it all, if you follow him on IG like I do you can see he dominates the social world all the way to L.A. So it’s no surprise that the photogenic athlete has caught the modeling world’s attention as well, he has an inspiring positive attitude that will serve him well on the successful path he is on. You don’t have to take my word for it, when he tells his own story so well…… Q:Let's start with talking about where you are from for the people who just might be getting familiar with who you are.......... A: For the ones that don't know me as much, I'm from Atlanta, Ga. East Atlanta to be exact! People from my hood mostly just see me as the regular Deven before basketball and everything, some glorify me and also you have those individu...
