Home Decor(how I turned Lemons into Lemonade)

The Guest Room
So my readers may not know this but I'm a college student, and I've been leasing my home for two years, well it wasn't nearly up to my standards when I first moved in 10/9/09, but I made it my project for it to feel like I was at home the way I was raised. It's an old 3BR house so that was another issue I needed the space and it was in budget just not the area I'm use to. Well I'm gonna show you the beginning until now and I'm still not done even though I'm hopeful I will graduate in Dec and relocate to Atl. I'm also gonna tell you some great places to snag things that look great, but won't break the bank. This how the place looked the first time I ever saw it

This was the backyard
The Great Room
The Kitchen
 This was the bathroom
This was the diningroom leading off to the hall

This is now the sitting room

This was my room, so as you can see I had my work really cut out for me I had never furnished a house before, but I knew this was not how it was supposed to look. So this became the great room, my mom had already bought my microfiber contemporary furniture set. So we fast forward because the dog ended up destroying the whole set and this was the aftermath I had to have it redone in leather, and replace the vases which are made by a company called LennoxFull view from the otherside of the great room

I redid my own kitchen sink
This is now my backyard

This is now what my kitchen/Dining room looks like I painted the stove cover stainless steel myself, to match my refrigerator, glasstop stove, and refrigerator, the dining room is asian inspired I have a bistro table with a high vase which I purchased from I.O.Metro I love that store, with asian style dishes, and art to accent the walls.(THAT PICTURE WAS TAKEN DURING CHRISTMAS MY WHOLE FAMILY CAME OVER)

My Bedroom

Im kinna in between a french Chateau California ThemeThis the ottoman that sits by corner window and I decorated my wall with early picture of myself, same color scheme....lol

This the otherside of my room

This is in my bathroom now
This is in my guestroom which is where I get dressed it just needs to cleaned
Now the sitting room is still under construction, but I wanted to show people just because you dont have a new house doesnt mean you can't do things yourself to make it modern. I never had to decorate or furnish a home, before but because of how I was accustomed to living I had to figure out fast, meanwhile I still attend school full-time, take care of two dogs, and work a part-time job now below I will some great places to find some of the items or any great items, my style might not be yours.

Now these are just some of the places I go, and I dont find the things to be very pricey, happy home decorating

Urban Insider talks Model Behavior with Mr. Alex Dominguez of RED Models NYC

With it now being officially spring and actually feeling like it, I thought what better way to celebrate than bringing in a little model behavior. Models often showcase the best of what the average person aspires to look like, from the clothes, the height, and even their hair. We chatted with Mr. Alex Dominguez for the proper insight, and here are our results....... Tell us a little about yourself such as where you are from, age, and for those who aren't familiar what agency you are currently signed with..... I was born Alexander P Dominguez in Washington DC on December 4th, and have resided in Prince George's county Maryland for most of my life. I graduated from Frostburg State university with a degree in Criminal Justice. I come from a good traditional Filipino family, and I am presently represented by RED model management NY. What was it and when was it that make you first take an interest in becoming a male model..... I really had no intentions of

Spotlight On:The New It Girl Jessica Burciaga

She has it all from the girl next door appeal, to extreme sex appeal. I first took notice of her when I saw the Jamie Foxx ft Drake "Fall For Your Type" video and to be honest I had to take a sceond glance because I really thought that she was JLO. It wasnt until recently when I actually found out who this stunning beauty is who looks like she could be Jennifer Lopez's little sister. Jessica Burciaga (born April 11, 1983) is an American model . Her father is Mexican and her mother is French and Irish . She was selected to be Playboy's February 2009 Playmate of the Month .   I think we are just starting to see the beginning of the beautiful Jessica, and that she has alot more in store......
