Men and Babyshowers (do they go together or is it still for the ladies)

I have recently been invited by along time acquaintance of mine to her babyshower. To my understanding babyshowers have always been a women only event, however she is trying to convince me that today's generation does it co-ed. We all saw Phaedra Parks

I'm not Dwight so I have some reservations about attending Apollo didnt even show up and it's his baby, so she said the least I could do was stop by and when I see that there are actually other guys there then I will feel more comfortable staying. I could just roll through and drop off some type of gift, but I dunno about this whole babyshower thing. What are you guys opinions good or bad let me know?
