FM:So tell me about this song I've been hearing about on twitter so the readers can check it out, and what projects we can listen to from you
LF:The name of the song that you've been hearing so much about is titled "Fading
Away", which will be released online on April 19, 2011 through my label, Endless Muziik Group & will be distributed by Bungalo / Universal Music Group. You can also find more of my music, videos, links & my touring schedule at http://www.reverbnation.com/lucciefontane
FM:Are you originally from Atlanta and how long you been involved in music? What advice would you give to someone trying to do what you are already great at doing
LF:No, I'm not originally from Atlanta, although I do call Atlanta home. I'm originally from Brooklyn New York, Coney Island to be exact. I've been involved in the music all my life. Ever since I could talk, I've been singing. My advice to someone trying to break into the entertainment industry is to stay true to yourself & believe in your talents. Only you can beat you!
FM:What artist inspire your musical creations, and who would you most likely be compared to musically?
LF:There's to many to name but I'd say all of the R&B greats have inspired me to some degree. From Smokey Robinson & Michael Jackson to Usher & R.Kelly, they've all had a hand in inspiring me to become the artist that I am today.
FM:How old are you?
LF: I'm 21
FM:Have you done any collabs and are you interested in doing any and with whom?
LF: If I had a chance to do a collaboration with another R&B artist, it would have to be Keri Hilson, Beyonce or Alicia Keys. Hip Hop artist? The Boss Rick Ross or Jay-Z.
FM:Are you interested in branching out into film or any other aspects of entertainment?
LF:Yes, I'm interested in branching out into acting & modeling, but I'm focused on releasing a strong musical project before I shift my focus.
FM:What songs of others are you feeling in the music industry right now?
LF: It may sound strange but as an R&B artist I actually listen to more Hip Hop & Rap more than anything else. New York, Dirty South all the way down to Cali, I listen to it all.
FM:What would you describe as the best place to chill in your city?
All Of The Lights!!!
LF: If you're talking about New York, I'll say Time Square. If you're talking about Atlanta, I'll say Atlantic Station. Both places have so much going on that you'll never get board. Besides, they're both great tourist hangouts.
