Another look at me now moment for Chris Brown after months of drama at his Los Angeles condo where neighbors constantly complained about late night parties, loud noise, dog racing the hallways and parking in handicap spots, Chris Brown has found himself a new Hollywood bachelor pad in the exclusive neighborhood of Hollywood Dell — for a minor $1.5 milli.
His latest 2,473 square foot, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom crib was designed by Jay Vanos, the man responsible for the house Samantha lived in in the Sex and the City film, and features ever amenity that one would expect a young twenty-something superstar to have, including being eco-friendly.
“Inside there’s a double-height living room with towering walls of glass with canyon views, fireplace with flat-screen mounted above and ebony wood floors under foot. The living room is open to a sleek Boffi brand kitchen with charcoal-colored cabinetry and what looks like stainless steel counter tops but may very well be something else entirely, located above the kitchen there looks to be a lofted office/sitting room.
“The top level master suite, separated from the staircase by a glass wall that stretches from wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, is open completely open to the bathroom that includes a free-standing soaking tub, separate glassed-in shower stall, and long, double sink vanity. It’s all terribly sexy in that Miami hotel suite sort of way but we can imagine it could be awfully annoying for a couple who have different schedules and routines to have to listen and watch their partner do their morning and/or evening ablutions.
“The custom-designed house is, as per listing information we teased out of the internets, was designed with a green roof and is kitted and fitted with all the latest high-tech electronic gadgetry that includes a Crestron home automation system, state-of-the art audio and video security systems, and LED lighting displays throughout including in the swimming pool and jacuzzi that lights up like a damn disco at the flip of a switch.”
At least this time he won’t have to worry about living in the same building with any of his neighbors, who wants that drama. His 7-unit condo complex that he moved into back in February got him nothing but trouble, and cost him $1.6 milli with 3-bedroom and 3.5-bathrooms. It’s rumored that Chris moved out of his old place earlier this month after purchasing his new digs in October. Though he’s vacated his last residence, it has yet to be listed back on the market.
