FM:appreciate your time first and foremost for starters let the readers know who you are, your age, and where you grew up at?
M:What's going on.appreciate you having me.. I'm Messiah , I'm 22 , I'm from Greenville,SC currently residing in Atlanta .
FM:What gave you the drive to begin a career in music with it being such a hard industry to break into?
M:Well I've always loved music . It's always been a passion of mine . I've been raping since the age of eleven. and it was poetry before that . So it's never been something I didn't see myself doing career wise. Its what i do. So the drive has always been there.. I was made to do just what I am doing.... making MUSIC
FM:Let's talk about what the journey in this industry been like for you the good and bad?
M:I've had my ups & downs .. I was signed twice.. the first was with my rap group at the time (en-b-a). That was @ the age 15 . At that point I knew that's what I wanted to do. I thought there was no stopping me ..the situation didn't work out but it was a good experience. So yea.. I've ran into a few obstacles and learned a tremendous amount from them all. I just keep my head up & look to better my tomorrow. Im still unsigned at this time.. but All in All im still here, So im Good.
FM:Who are some musical influences that have inspired you as an artist? And when you write songs where does your mind go?
M:Well you know. of course the Greats . Big . Pac . Hov .3000. Wayne . Tip . Kanye.. Kiss. Common.. I mean the list goes on and on right? Im influenced by all .. umm I listen to music and try to grow from it .. When I do write... its usually right before a session.. I write bars and store em in my phone.. but when I get beats.. i just listen to them.. and eventually I tap into some what of a dream. I then create a story line.. and when its time to write it out.. it comes easy
FM:As an artist do feel you play an important role and influence on the people who are listening to you, and what image do you want to portray?
M:Well Yeah, very influential on your listeners.. a great amount of people grow up off or relate to music..so just as I named a few artist earlier .. we listen, and see and want to experience these things ourselves.. so yeah, I would say so. I consider myself being seen as a renissance man.. I can do it all. I'm very well rounded in life,so I feel as though my following are people with simular personalities as me.. who can put their minds to anything.. and be great at what they're doing
FM:What do you feel it takes to have longevity in this industry, and what is your reaction to lack of talent a lot of artist in the industry have but still get that shine? And what do you define as talent
M:ha . umm yeah , I won't say the industry lacks talent .. I do feel there is a tremendous amount of better talent that hasnt gotten a chance to be seen or heard, but then again. thats how it goes.. I feel that any skill thats different, and being utilized in a positive way is a talent. As far as longevity, those who are in the industry who arent quite as talented as others, weed themselves out.. You just have to have that "it" factor, and be able to give the people what they want.
FM:As far as genres do you plan on branding yourself in other markets, and collaborating with other artist, and what artist have you worked with so far? Moving forward who would you like to work with
M:Oh yeah, definitely.. from pop. to rock . to country, Im trying to do it all .. I feel like me and just about anybody could make magic in the lab. but I'd love to work with the black eye peas.. to lady gaga .. kanye west . timberland .pharrell etc ..
FM:Discuss the projects you have out now and please include links
M:Right now I got 3 projects I'm working on .. #byrdwatch .. which is a mixtape . thats gonna be real dope.. its done actually . so just finishing up some final touches . I got the #MOVIE coming out.. don't want to give to many details right now, but look out for it.. and I have #mobtalk , which is a 7 tracks/ 7 videos I have with my teammate @trayonpass .. So yeah.. big things poppin

FM:Do you aspire to do any work in other parts of the entertainment industry?
M:Most definitely .. I would eventually like to get into film, movies.. I can see myself branching off doing something of the sort. I'd like to get my own reality show.. I'm starting up a clothing line now. I want my hands in alittle bit of everything.. dont be surprised if u see me on a colgate commercial.. ha ha.
FM:Outside of music what interests you in everyday life?
M:Umm . I'm really a loner .. not that I'm ever alone. ha , but I just like to cool out.. I like to chill roof top, or pool side. Me & the bra bras go out on a regular, so of course the clubs, parties, etc.. but if im not in the studio, im probably posted with my exotic.
FM: As far as clothing what's your personal style?
M:I wear various things.. I mean, Im fresh* .. I wear alot of "double M" #mogulmovement .. check out some gear on www.mogulmovement.com ha .. yea.. but i just keep it clean.. no matter if I'm in a suit or a white tee . Your going to see me ..
FM:What are some things you can't live without?
M:... MY FREEDOM .. simple
FM:Favorite place to hangout?
M: pool side, roof top, .. I go bowling alot , and my favorite place to be is probably the studio
